After several years as a nomadic series of standalone projects, parallel to gallery and festival programming, JL Murtaugh established Syndicate as an autonomous space in Spring 2016. Working with a core group of associates and a rotating roster of international artists, Syndicate’s gallery programme is still supplemented by exhibitions and events further afield. Murtaugh studied at Goldsmiths College in London, and is now based between Cologne and Chicago.
Seecum Cheung (*1984, UK) is based in Rotterdam, recently completing her postgraduate studies at Piet Zwart Institute. She will have her first institutional solo exhibition later this year at Grand Union, Birmingham, UK, and will collaborate with Syndicate for Poppositions 2017 in Brussels this April.
Tom Crawford (*1979, UK) is based in London. He completed his postgraduate studies at Goldsmiths College. Crawford recently contributed to exhibitions at South Kiosk, Matt’s Gallery, and Cubitt in London, Bloc Projects in Sheffield, and a solo presentation at g39 in Cardiff.

Reynolds was a fellow of Akademie Schloss Solitude in 2014, and last year received a Fundación Botín International Arts Fellowship.
Rehana Zaman (*1982, Heckmondwike UK) is based in London.
